Can
a Single Hacker Bring Down the Internet?
Security and Law
Enforcement experts believe that although many
corporations and government entities have made
significant strides
in securing their networks, a single hacker could still
wreak havoc on the Internet and possibly even bring it
down. Such an incident, if it were ever to occur,
could have huge ripple effects across the computer
industry and the economy in general. It could be
done by amassing an army of "sleeper" nodes
that the hacker "owns" and then using those
sleepers to attack DNS infrastructure. Or more
simply, a person could cut the fiber optic wires that
interconnect the Internet at their central hub.
Done at the right time and in the right places this
could bring down the Internet for days or even
weeks.

Getting
Started with CISSP Certification
The CISSP Certification is
the hottest Information Security Certification

or (ISC)²
for short. The exam covers (ISC)²'s

experience in (ISC)²'s 10 Domains of the Common Body of
Knowledge.
2. Take TN-815: CISSP Boot Camp

- TechNow
Better than SANS?
How can our
customers be wrong? Customers who have taken
TechNow's Hack and Defend courses and gone to SANS
agree that TechNow delivers the best Hands-on Hack and
Defend courses around and offers the best Information
Security Certification - the CISSP. One customer
said "Compared with the 3 other courses I've been
to, this was clearly the best. Your instructor
knew far more than the others and was willing to go the
extra mile so that I could understand."
Commenting on a SANS instructor another customer said,
"Sure, he was a PHD and possibly a genius.
But he couldn't explain anything to me!"
TechNow offers the best Information Security courses
you'll find in San Antonio, Austin or anywhere in the
nation.
