Merger Agreed to by Oracle, PeopleSoft
Oracle and PeopleSoft
have finally come to an agreement after 18 months of bad
blood. Oracle upped its bit by 10 percent to bring
the total to $26.50 per share to purchase PeopleSoft.
By completing this purchase, Oracle hopes it will put a
big dent into the leading business applications software
company, German maker, SAP. They would eventually
also like to purchase smaller tech companies, but not as
large as size of PeopleSoft.
