Overview

Windows 2000 is one of the most popular and easy to use computer operating systems on the market today.  It can be used to manage every aspect of a network infrastructure, from file sharing and email to data warehousing.  There are two important certifications for system and network administrators who utilize these technologies.  The Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) credential is meant for those who both analyze the business requirements of an organization and design and implement a solution based on Windows 2000 technology.  The Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA) credential is for those who will manage and troubleshoot a Windows 2000 network.
