Overview

This three-day instructor-led course provides students with the knowledge & skills to implement & administer IIS 6.0. The course focuses on the IIS 6.0 architectural features that improve reliability, security, manageability & performance. The course also provides knowledge & skills to successfully install, configure, implement security, monitor, & manage Internet Information Services (IIS) 6.0 servers and Web sites.

Prerequisites

Before attending this course, students must have at least two years experience in administering Microsoft Windows-based servers.  Skills to do the following:

Assign file system permissions to resources
Configure file system permissions to resources
Configure network interface parameters
Create & configure Domain Name System (DNS) entries
Monitor server performance
Monitor network traffic
