Learn to use remote access networks.

Overview

This course provides the skills necessary to implement a multi site enterprise. It also includes expertise on controlling access & managing traffic across the enterprise. Student will identify the assemble & configure Cisco equipment to establish appropriate WAN connections.  Enable protocols & technologies that allow traffic flow between multiple sites, while minimizing the amount of overhead traffic on each connection.  Implement quality of service capabilities to ensure that mission critical applications receive the required bandwidth within a given WAN topology.

Prerequisites

The BCRAN course focuses on introducing techniques & technology for enabling WAN solutions. To fully benefit from BCRAN, the student must be familiar with general networking terms & concepts & have experience completing the following tasks on Cisco routers:
General Cisco router operation & configuration
TCP/IP operation & configuration
Routing Protocols (RIP, IGRP)
Routed Protocols (IP, IPX)
Standard & extended access lists
PPP operation & PPP configuration over serial links
Frame Relay operation & configuration on interfaces & subinterfaces
Legacy DDR over ISDN-BRI operation & configuration

The target audiences for this course are as follows:
Network administrators who are responsible for implementing & troubleshooting enterprise WAN backbones
Network technicians responsible for implementing & or troubleshooting customer remote access network implementations
CCNP & CCDP candidates
CCIE Dial ISP & routing/switching candidates
