This is a hands-on, instructor led Bootcamp focusing on the real world responsibilities of a Modern Desktop Administrator and covering the information needed for the certification exams, which are administered while attending.

If you’ve passed Exam 70-698: Configuring Windows 10 (retired March 31, 2019) you only need to take MD-101 to earn this new certification.

This certification is one of the workload administrator certification required for the Microsoft 365 Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert certification.

Course Overview:

The course covers the new features and functionality in Windows Server 2012 and Windows Server 2012 R2, including management, network infrastructure, storage, access control, virtualization, high availability, and identity federation. Specific technologies covered include Windows PowerShell, Storage Spaces and Internet Small Computer System interface (iSCSI), Active Directory, Hyper-V, implementation of Remote Access solutions such as DirectAccess, VPNs, and Web Application Proxy (WAP). Course Overview:

SharePoint is the Premier Office Collaboration Server Suite.  Two of the most requested features to implement in any SharePoint Server environment is building custom workflows and incorporating InfoPath forms into the site.  This course aims to build the average user’s body of knowledge and skill set to allow them to take on some of this responsibility.  Students will learn the SharePoint Designer software, a free product, to do these tasks.

Over the course of the two days the users will work on a live SharePoint Server environments making changes to pages, adding pages and making Workflows.  They will learn how to build InfoPath forms and migrate them to the SharePoint environment.
