Course Overview:

Topics covered in this course give system administrators the skills, tools, and knowledge to implement and maintain a network that uses Mac OS X Server.  The student installs and configures Mac OS X Server to provide network-based services: file sharing, mail, web, wikis, Apple Open Directory naming services, integration with Windows Active Directory, alternative strategies for corporate deployment of OS X to the desktop, speedy recovery of servers, and maintaining a local software update  server.  Windows Group Policy is standard corporate practice and TechNow demonstrates how to simulate Windows Group Policy with Apple OS X server.

Attendees to A-215: Mac OS X Server will receive TechNow approved course materials and expert instruction.
